Are you an individual or family on a low income budget? You might qualify for the community outreach program and be able to take advantage of our services for free!

The center does not bill insurance companies directly. Contact yours to see if any of our many services are covered. You might also be able to claim a percentage on your income tax as well under the Healthy Living Tax Incentive ( We are recognised), depending on which service you paid for.               

Visit the Gardens/ Labyrinth/Meditation Room: Stroll the gardens or sit and sip one of our herbal teas by the riverside. Walk the labyrinth in a walking meditation (workshops available), visit the life size Zen Garden, read or paint in the peacefulness of Nature. Watch the horses graze lazily in the warm sun or fish in the babbling water (you must hold a valid fishing license). Bird and butterfly watch amongst the flowers or bring a picnic lunch (we have a microwave available and small, cash canteen. You may also enjoy sitting quietly in the meditation room when it is colder outside and just getaway from life's routine for a short while.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The life size Zen garden helps calm the mind and ADHD symptoms while raking. Feel free to take off your shoes and do some Earthing (connecting & grounding with the planet's energy) while you are here!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our outdoor, wheelchair accessible, walking labyrinth for meditation and reflection sits overlooking the beautiful Salmon River. It is full of flowers, butterflies and peace. (1 hour private workshops available)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We also have a Face in one of the Labyrinth stones. Come see him for yourself and decide if he really is a Spirit of this land. Sometimes, people leave coins and other little offerings to him.

New in 2017: Private, small group rentals. Get the outdoor and indoor spaces all to yourselves, days or evenings. 4-5 hour blocks (limited openings). Private group of 3-8 people: $10 per person. Fire pit available if no ban in effect. Hold a drumming Circle, have a group labyrinth walk, meditate collectively, hold an indoor, holistic workshop or have a Reiki/Essential Oil/Tarot night etc... SEAWC is a lovely, secluded setting that facilitates peace and grounding. The gift shop will be open and hot teas available for you and your group.

 Take a Virtual Labyrinth Walk

Facilitated Walking Meditation: 1 on 1 facilitation on how to get the most from the Labyrinth Walking Meditation. This focuses only on the now and regrouping/ grounding yourself. You make it what you want. Can provide great emotional, physical or spiritual tranquility. 1 hour: $15.00 You might also qualify for the community outreach program and be able to take advantage this service for free!

Clinical Aromatherapy Services: a wide variety of services to deal with chronic pain, fatigue, anxiety, and mental health in children, youth and adults. HERE for in depth information.

Visit the Multi Sensory Stimulation Room: For individuals who would benefit from enhanced communication skills, quality of life, and surpassing behavioural challenges by interacting with special lights, audio, visual, olfactory and tactile equipment. Free (donations always welcome or visit our fundraising gift shop) for individuals residing in Digby (including Clare) & Yarmouth Counties with cognitive disorders, including Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia; limited to once per month if schedule and demand permits.  $40 per hour or partial hour for all other non residents.

FUN & ACTIVE Equine Play Visit: For ANYONE with NO SPECIAL NEEDS. Cuddle, groom and play with a mini horse! Give them a new "hairdo" or dress them up with a new hat. Inside or go into the large, outdoor riding pen for fun and fresh air. Can build up to ground work activities with experience. You might also be able to claim a percentage on your income tax as well under the Healthy Living Tax Incentive ( We are recognised).

Cost:   $40.00 for 1 on 1 mini horse for 1 hour. Bring a friend, 2 to 1 mini horse for $20.00 per person. * This is FUNDRAISING for our community outreach program, you will be helping our community while having fun! This would be a fun, birthday activity. We can also take a digital photo for you, FREE!

Respite Service: Respite services are sometimes available, at the Center or in your home. Here for pricing. What is respite? Respite allows a parent or primary caregiver to get a break from the responsibility of 24 hour care that they provide to an ill or impaired loved one. They can spend time all by themselves without guilt, knowing that they are leaving their vulnerable, family member in a safe environment with a trained, responsible care giver. NOT AVAILABLE

*In your own home; minimum of 4 hours. Yarmouth to Weymouth area. You can also make arrangements to leave your loved one(1 hour or more) at the Center where there are loads of crafts and activities to do.

Tutoring Services:  Literacy tutoring for adults who have basic (grade school level) reading and writing skills available in a respectful and fun setting (free, donations welcome).

Horse Assisted Reading: Children's 1 on 1 tutoring or group workshops available. This is a unique and fun way to get young children reading and enjoying it! English or Francais. Prices vary.

Attend: a multitude of workshops, day camps or one of many planned activities for toddlers, children and adults: see coming events page. Some events are free to all, some have a small fee. Workshops include; Meditation, walking meditation, stress relief, coping with chronic pain, creative writing (youth and adults), literacy for adults, literacy for youth, girl self esteem, night time astronomy, drumming, various crafting, various gardening, read and play for toddlers/preschool, art for toddlers/preschool, winter, summer and March break activities for child and youth, and many more. Browse the giftshop: and find an unusual treasure or trinket. Sip an herbal tea and bring it outdoors and wander in the gardens. We also have organic plants, trees and shrubs available outside. Our gift shop also sells many items whose profits go into the community outreach program.

CARNIVAL STYLE FUNDRAISING: is ongoing in the gift shop. All profits go to fund the Community Outreach Program for low income families/individuals and the multi sensory, stimulation service. The Pick a Stick Pull has some really cool prizes, EVERY one is a WINNER!

Who can apply and for what? Check our upcoming events and also our services pages and see if there is anything that may benefit you. Be advised: you may have to wait for an opening to become available, this will depend on how successful ongoing fundraising is. Then contact us if you qualify for a subsidised place (previous year's income tax form, Child Tax Benefit form, H.S.T., child maintenance support information, alimony information, RECEIPTS FOR meds. & rent/mortgage payments is required), see chart below:

~ Individual/family income with NO children UNDER 18 years of age living with them and whose yearly net income is $10,800 and under annually. Subtract your monthly prescription medications & 1/4 of your rent/mortgage payments from your income total.

 ~ Individual/family net income WITH 1 child UNDER 18 years of age living with them and whose yearly income is $12,600 and under annually. Subtract your monthly prescription medications & 1/4  of your rent/mortgage payments from your income total.

 ~ Individual/family net income WITH 2 children or more UNDER 18 years of age living with them and whose yearly income is $14,400 and under annually. Subtract your monthly prescription medications & 1/4 of your rent/mortgage payments from your income total.

*Annual income includes all forms of income including but not limited to: employment earnings,          income assistance, employment insurance benefits, child support and alimony payments, pensions and Child Tax Benefit, H.S.T. refund benefits etc...
